HOW DO WE DONATE TO SCHOOLS?
Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd is committed to supporting schools financially. We do this in the following way:
- If you use any of the services we provide, for which we receive a commission, our commitment is that we will donate 10% of that commission to a school of your choice. This could be a school that your child is currently attending, the school that you attended or a school in your local area that you simply believe would welcome some additional financial support.
- This promotion will run between 23rd February 2018 and 31st December 2020
As a result of this commitment, Rothamsted Financial Services believes that schools and the children that go to them will benefit from the work that we do, as well as our clients.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
i) The promotion is open to all retail clients of Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd (the signing of a Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd Client Agreement confers client status).
ii) There are no limits on the number of clients that this promotion is available to, this offer is also primarily targeted at consumers based in the United Kingdom (UK) and the donation will be to schools in the UK.
iii) The 10% donation, to a school of the client’s choice, is taken from the commission that Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd receives when it completes a Mortgage and / or Protection transaction on behalf of a client.
In relation to a mortgage transaction, Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd will receive commission from a mortgage lender of (typically) 0.3% gross, of the sum borrowed. We will receive this net of 10%, which is retained by TenetLime Ltd our Principal. Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd is an appointed representative of TenetLime Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
In relation to a protection transaction, Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd will receive commission from an insurance company of (typically) 170% of the annual premium. We will receive this net of 13%, which is retained by TenetLime Ltd our Principal. Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd is an appointed representative of TenetLime Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Once Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd receives the commission to which it is entitled, 10% of this will be donated to the school of a client’s choice. For example where the net commission received by Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd is £500, the donation to the school of the client’s choice will be £50. Payment will be paid within 10 working days of the first mortgage / policy premium being paid.
Clients will be provided with a complete breakdown of the donation made on their behalf, including gross commission, net commission and the sum donated to the relevant school, on their behalf, which will be available on request.
iv) If a client cancels a policy, Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd will not seek to recoup any donations made to schools, on the basis of the relevant transaction.
v) The commission that Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd receives will be available for clients to see in the personalised illustration of any products that they purchase. Further breakdown
vi) The donation will be made on behalf of any customers who become clients (see point i) on or before 31 December 2020, where Rothamstead Financial Services Ltd subsequently transact on their behalf.
vii) There are no limits on the total amount of money that Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd will donate to schools on behalf of its clients. There is no minimum premium limit and it is not restricted to one payment per product / policy per customer / client and so where multiple products are sold then this would result in multiple payments.
viii) Rothamsted Financial Services Ltd will make available to clients, on request, the total sum of donations made, at the point that the request is made.
ix) This offer may be withdrawn at any time and without notice.
